You're missing the most important MLS news of all!

David Beckham Shows Off His Rosy Anniversary Tattoo

David Beckham didn't get his wife, Victoria Beckham, any ordinary anniversary gift to celebrate 10 years of marriage: He got a tattoo.

"Yeah, I [got] 10 roses around my arms," the inked soccer, 34, star tells Ellen DeGeneres on the Sept. 8 season premiere of her chat show. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20302093,00.html

Please, please, Don Garber and AEG, send Beckham back to Milan!

Good news (for us) about Mastroeni.

TFC is being given a lot of "help" for this match. Let's hope they can come away with 3 points!

Is it safe to fly out 33 year old Robinson to Colorado in his poor condition? I've heard some horror stories about flying in your thirties.

Ah, you beat me to it! :D Where the hell is the difference in the 18 months more that Danny has been alive on this planet to preclude him from taking a fucking plane ride?

Mastroeni will serve the suspension when the Rapids host Toronto FC on Saturday. He'll miss the road game against Toronto FC on Sept. 12.

is this accurate? I didn't realize it was a home-home series. Still, that's very good for us!

that's right parky, home and home againist one of our direct opponents going for the final playoff spot. If someone comes away with 0 points their playoffs run is just about done.

I'd hate to be a rapids fan on the 13th.

Sidenote: What are the chances we can sign Rohan Ricketts for 2 games?

C'mon now Parky. They are currently under contract.

As far as I know RR is a FA.

These travel arrangements are going kill our play-off chances. Last week they left early on Thursday morning and put in one of their best west coast performances. This is what CC said about it last week.

"When we are traveling to the west coast and having a five hour flight and a three hour time difference we need to try and travel two days before to try and adjust as much as possible," explained Cummins. "We've tried different things including flying in on the Friday, but we did look tired towards the end of the match on Saturday. With it being a 1 o'clock kick off local time in Seattle we will travel on Thursday and train there on Thursday and Friday and try and adjust a lot better than we did last week."

Now I know that Colorado is only a 2 hour time difference and they don't play until 10pm our time on Saturday, but leaving on Friday at lunchtime is crazy. It leaves no room for problems like they are having right now. They are sat at Pearson right now and probably will be for a while. But don't worry, MLSE have saved one night in a hotel for the guys.

I can hear it now "We put in a bad performance today because we didn't get into our hotel until late last night".

For games in altitude you leave as late as possible. Apparently studies have shown the effects of altitude really kick in after 24-48 hours.
So sure for LA they'll go early, but you'll always see teams every go REALLY early to altitude...or leave it to the last minute.

I don't know why but this comment made me laugh. Maybe because it sounds so ridiculous.

Its all that sun and exceptionally nice weather grounding the plane.
