home would be preferred...but likely not

Dallas would be a good start as they are not a good side and getting the season off on a winning note would be great.

Why do a pole and hide the results? Seriously man, what is the point, are you doing market research for MLSE or something.

Your thought process is strange to me.

or we could all spam vote chicago or vote houston and then one side takes off...i see no difference, but i think this is just as bad as you thinking DeRo should not be on TFC (at least i think it was you who has been voicing that, correct me if im wrong?)

I think Seattle would be a fun place to start the season. I'd love to open at home every year, but I'm not a fan of playing in snow.

Just release the results Mighty...

FYI...I picked Columbus so that only a couple of hundred fans go and Columbus realizes the difference between 11,000 and 9,000 fans really is significant.

I hope we start at home on ESPN against Houston playing with silver ball in a rematch of our first MLS Cup win.

If the season starts the weekend of march 13th, let's play in new york. the leafs are playing against the islanders that weekend. Tfc supporters can own the red bulls new stadium, then rock the nassau coliseum.

TFC I'm not sure about. But I'd like for you to be as far away as possible. Preferrably without internet access.

Some bumfuck place so we can get it the hell out of the way immediately. Like Dallas or KC or Salt Lake.

That will save the good trips for later, like Philly in May. Hey Paul, can ya make Philly happen for 29 May 2010 (since I will be in that area during that time)? :D

Yeah...errr...because that would be...uh...

Oh, fuck it! really?! Releasing the results are going to somehow skew the poll? Why the fuck would that happen? Do people have fucking money riding on this?

If Philly can give us 1,000 seats I say we start there. Their stadium will be packed and rocking. We'll have our end going and it'll be on ESPN. It will set the tone for the rest of the year.

Although I don't know how much they have allocated for away support. Anybody else have an idea?

Chicago or New York (with the new stadium) would also be sweet!

Dumb poll because the answer is - like Gerry Dobson suggested - a long road trip to start the season so that the new grass can grow at BMO Field!

I'll ENJOY THIS SEASON, thank you...

Post this in the off-season when we don't have games, playoffs, road trips, players in/players out to talk about and then maybe I'll have a look...

Unitll then, my advice to you is ENJOY THIS SEASON, as the off season is LOOOONNNGGG...

I agree, we need to start the first two games of the season on the road. The weather this spring was god awful. There is nothing worse than not being able to enjoy the cosy confines of BMO field in nice beer drinking weather. All you needed this spring was popsicle sticks for your pints. After the results of two games on the road we will certainly know where we stand off the hop.

I said Dallas, but really, I don't care as long as there's a nice 4 game away stretch to start so we arn't freezing during games here in MARCH!!! WTF, who ever made the schedule, obviously hasn't been to Toronto before.

okay... I'm killing this thread.

there's no reason for the results to be hidden, and there's really nothing we can do about where TFC starts anyway.
