Hi Guys.

Just spoke to Nigel Reed and he wants you all to know that, tomorrow night (August 13), the Soccer Show on Fan590 will be a special 2 hour live episode

During the summer, baseball games often push the show to a late time slot but the Blue Jays have an off day so The Soccer Show gets a prime 2 hour spot.

The show goes live at 8pm to 10pm.

Joining Bob Iarusci and Nigel Reed in studio will be TFC assistant coach Nick Dasovic. Also appearing will be Lino Terra from Soccer Academy Alliance Canada.

Wolner seems like a prick alot of the time, but considering the people he has to talk to on the radio, I cant really blame him.

Well, considering Rogers owns the Jays and owns the Fan590, the Jays broadcasts aren't going anywhere and neither is jays talk.

I'd like to see the Soccer Show get 2 hours ever week because its so hard to go into any depth on any subject in just 1 hour. I've been lucky enough to appear as an in studio panelist a couple of times and it is alot more fun to do a 2 hour show rather than a 1 hour show. With all the sports updates and commercials, you really only get about 36-40 minutes per hour.

I think soccer deserves a daily show on the Fan590 (maybe a 1hour podcast every day and the a weekly 2 hour show that is aired on Thursday nights on the radio and online).

The last time SAAC people (me included, I am on the BoD of SAAC) were on the show last month, we didn't discuss the issue of Academies for more than one 15 minute segment.

Mot a bad show. There was a lot on the SAAC, but it was less than 1 hour.
