I read on tfc.ca that we need to win by 2 goals to advance. PR scored 1 away goal. If we win the next leg 1-0 wouldnt that put us both with a 1-1 aggregate and give us each 1 road goal???

IF so wouldnt tie breaker extra time or penalties kick in???

Please someone with knowledge on the rules clear this up for this die hard fan who doenst want to hope for another miracle.....................

I think that is the case. If we win 1-0 it goes up to extra time and kicks which makes it a crap shoot. A 2-0 win is a clean advance at the whistle

If it says that they're wrong. 2-0 or 2-1 we go through. 1-0, it goes to ET/PKs

We need a 2-1 or 2-0 win to advance.
A 1-0 win and it would go to overtime.

My understanding, in the event of a tie is:

1. Most "away" goals scored
2. If tied, most goals scored in overtime period at the end of the 2nd game
3. If tied, Penalty Kicks
