Hi Guys,

out of the following Seated sections, which is the best?

219
220
226
227

and by best, i mean for a guy in his 20's. How are they when it comes to chanting, swearing, and not being pestered by families?

any feedback is appreciated

Thanks,
Rory

i'm in 226 or 220 a lot, there's a few fans up there that just CANNOT be slienced, but they do it to the point where they get (hold your stiffled laughter) families and non-regulars involved. i believe that having sections like that are just as essential to the team as the supporters sections.

I'm in 224 now, and spent a bit of time last year in 226. I never had a problem with my chanting (admittedly not that much) or swearing (quite a bit)or standing at appropriate times.

I think as long as you're not trying to stand up for extended times to do your chanting and you're not swearing constantly at the top of your voice, you'll be fine.

As to which is best, out of the ones you mentioned, i don't know, 226 is the only one I had experience with and that was ok.

Just be respectful, we're all supporting the same team.

And to further wowza's point, if you keep the chanting simple and are persistent enough, you'll get quite a few people joining in.

there's a lot of people in 220 who identify as 'supporters, but unfortunately not in a supporters section'.

I'm in 227 tomorrow night and am curious what it's like up there. I'm normally in 224 and 121. Have definitely gotten a few dirty looks while swearing at a missed Barrett chance, but nothing too too bad.

that's the thing.

i'm in 115 right now but most of the time, and i love it there and all, but i'm actually looking for a better view.

so i'm debating on finding someone for the '10 season, and doing a 1 season swap my 115's for their 220's or 226's or whatever. that way they can be in the supporters section, and i can have my amazing overhead view..and i can actually bring my father to the game (he's 65 and i wouldn't dare ask him to stand all match)

224 - it is actually trying to get in on chants from time to time and is the home of quite a few RPB faithful!

I've sat in 221 a few times this year and I think the view is great whenever the action is happening in this half of the field, and decent enough when it's in the other half. As for atmosphere it's VERY scattered, with most people sitting quietly and stuffing their faces, but there are a few louder fans. More importantly if you don't mind being the only guy singing, I have never seen security act with a heavy hand like what some people describe here in other sections. 220 and 219 would probably be about the same, but the view wouldn't be as good.

Brother, we can work something out!! I have my season seat in 224 now but have never actually been to it. I've supported from 115 right from the first season (have a whole section of friends in there) and am trying to get a real seat there. I went to my half season tickets seats last year (section 219) for only one half of a game and ended up leaving for 115. the people were nice there but choose to support the team in a much quieter and different manner than I care to. It might have just been an off day in that section but 115 is the only place for me. PM me any time you want to trade, even if its just for game or two this year!

Cheers!

My tix are in 220, its pretty good. I was in 227 in season 1 and it was shite. 220 is mostly 20-40 yr olds, almost no kids/families. Can get very loud up there, lots of chants, good atmosphere. also, my main man 'PABLO' is in 220, couple rows in front. I'd say 220 is probably the best value for the price

I'm in 221 row 10 and we have a good group of guys that follow the chants from the south end. We have never had a problem yet, might be because of Suckertash though...he's a fierce one.
