In fairness to Velez (and don't get me wrong I don't think he should have been used I would of liked to have seen them give Gomez a go based on his speed and size), I think we had a few players with a sub par outing. I didn't think much of Robinson's play in general, or Brennan. We need better service from the midfield. I'd say the Canadian National Team playing in the Gold Cup gave better service to Gerba then TFC did. I know Guevara went out early, but from the beginning of the game he was hanging back and not playing like himself, wonder if he too had a knock from our friendly? I think our Men's National Team also did a better job of holding onto the ball. We were up 2-1, all we had to do was play possession football, instead of long kicks and turning the ball over as soon as we gained possession! That is a midfield problem.

I have been saying from day one Marco Velez is not MLS quality,If everyone looks back on every goal that TFC have given up,you will find Velez involved in quite a few of them.Just this season I could count at least 5 or 6 occasions where he fucked up and cost us goals,which int urn cost us points.I might be wrong but didnt velez cost us a goal when cumlumbus last visited visit Toronto in the 1-1 tie.I know he got beat at midfield,because his positioning was bad as usual.Hes not for us.

What the fuck is the matter with people here? You're going to scream at him? Does he struggle on purpose, to spite of us or something? He puts all his heart into every second he plays and he shows a great deal of affection to the club, though I don't know why when so many "fans" are around to put him down. Go yell at him and do your part to better the team. Make sure he hears you.
