Ali Gerba may be a newcomer but he knows the significance of tonight's match for Toronto FC.

In a nice twist, he'll make his Major League Soccer debut tonight in familiar, and successful, surroundings at Columbus's Crew Stadium – where he scored the winner for Canada against El Salvador earlier this month in the Gold Cup.

Soccer fans who missed out on tickets for Real Madrid's pre-season friendly with Toronto FC will get a second chance for a glimpse of the Spanish powerhouse club.
Toronto FC announced yesterday it will sell tickets for Madrid's only training session at BMO Field on Aug. 6, the eve of the sold-out game.
Tickets are $15 and go on sale to the public on Tuesday, with a special pre-sale for season ticket holders and fans on the wait list for season tickets beginning Monday.
