oh man... things like this get me emotional. i'm a visible minority and have heard way too many of stories of this sort all over the world including Our Home and Native Land.

Unfortunate. There is no other word that could describe everything in this article. The saving grace is a white community's dedication to fighting against racism. This would not have happened in other generations.
