Winner

CF Pachuca 4/1
Pumas UNAM 4/1
Toluca 9/2
Cruz Azul 5/1
Deportivo Saprissa 15/1
Cowlumbus Poo 14/1
Houston Dynamo 17/1
DC United 21/1
Puerto Rico Islanders 21-1 :D
Deportivo Jalapa 24/1
Energy Drink 24/1 ( AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA)
Club Sport Heradiano 27/1
Toronto FC 29/1
Real Espana 44/1
San Francisco FC 64/1
Comunicacions 75/1
W Connection 75/1
San Juan Jeboltah 75/1
Marathon 100/1
CD Olimpia 100/1
CF Arabe Unido 150/1
CD Chalatenago 200/1
Deportivo Isidra Metapan 250/1

I know we all hate Honduras but I think there is value in Marathon and CD Olimpia ... their league isn't THAT much worse then MLS so 100-1 is crazy ...

Toronto FC vs. Puerto Rico Islanders

Toronto FC 1.70
Draw 3.35
Puerto Rico Islanders 5.2

Shit odds for TFC imo ...

They don't have new odds for LA Firpo? Chalatenango was DQ'd for not returning their papers on time...LA Firpo has their slot now.

But the Red Craps and the KKKrew before us? That's a low blow.

How could these seriously be right? New York are absolutely dismal this season!

But I mean, even a quick glance at the MLS standings would tell them this! They have something like 14 losses, and 2 wins.

It's surprising how little work they do sometimes when making their odds ...

I got a great price on Chivas USA vs LA this year when they were umbeaten in like 6 games ... why? The bookies thought they were playing on the road ...

Lost the bet though ... :(

From what I can tell, it could swing this way:

SJ Jabloteh over San Francisco
Pachuca over Jalapa
W Connection over Red Craps
Olimpia over Arabe Unido
Cruz Azul over Herediano
DC over LA Firpo
Real Espana over Liberia
TORONTO OVER PUERTO RICO

...which means groups will be:

A: Houston, Metapan, Pachuca, Olimpia
B: Toluca, Marathon, SJ Jabloteh, DC
C: Craplumbus, Saprissa, Cruz Azul, Toronto
D: UNAM, Communicaciones, W Connection, Real Espana

Yeah!

Actually 29-1 isn't that bad for TFC. If you assume the whole squad is fit, then we have some great players in De Ro, Gerba, Guevara, Robinson and Serioux who all have international experience, plus some really strong squad and younger players in Dichio, Brennan, Frei, Nana, Vitti and Cronin. Add to that our home atmosphere (ramped up for CL games I would think) and the plastic pitch which most teams won't like and we have a significant advantage for home games. With everyone fit, the weakest player in our starting XI is probably Wynne (a regular in the US squads now) or Brennan (a Canadian international with good experience in England who if you play him in his natural position at LM with Nana behind him is actually a pretty good player). Not bad for our weakest links!

I'm not saying we'll win the CL, far from it, and I know there are much better teams (and squads) in there than TFC, but as an outside bet I don't think we're a bad price at 29-1.

15/1 for Saprissa...I would put down a few bucks there if I was a betting man.
