Interesting. Everton is really paying attention to MLS. They just hired Columbus's fitness coach too

Everton has a lot of faith in American talent. Tim Howard has done wonders for American football players by being the best there is in the professional game. Hopefully MLS will take note and start focusing more on the academy system. This could provide the cash that turns MLS into a financially secure and quality league at the same time.

^ Or MLS will think the NCAA system is working well to turn out the players. If MLS could only pay them more, they might stay.

Sucks for me.
I've got dibs on tickets when Wake hosts Maryland and Davidson in late October.

Great for Arnoux. He could play MLS now.

Interesting. It makes the NCAA look more influential than "the pros" over here.

No, it's only rare exceptions. How many guys a year go from NCAA to European leagues?

Now, certainly that number will go up as NCAA improves but as MLS gets more established and raises its salary cap, more of them will stay home.
