White, Gerba set to make debuts
Forwards expected to play against River Plate on Wednesday

O'Brian White and Ali Gerba are both expected to be given debuts in the Carlsberg Cup match against storied Argentine side River Plate at BMO Field on Wednesday (kick off 7:30 p.m. live online on Toronto FC TV). White was picked fourth overall in the 2009 SuperDraft but has been recovering from an ACL injury. He returned to full training last month and is now ready for his first taste of match action. Since signing for Toronto, Gerba has been playing with Canada at the Gold Cup, but the striker returned to training on Monday and is also expected to play some part in the game.
