White returns for Reds
Paul Attfield
After watching midfielders Dwayne De Rosario and Amado Guevara carry the scoring load for most of the season, Toronto FC's striking contingent seems to have picked up the slack.
Chad Barrett's pair last weekend in San Jose doubled his season output to four goals, Argentine import Pablo Vitti has finally popped up on the scoresheet with two – his first two strikes for the team – in his past two games, while Danny Dichio has chipped in with his usual sporadic efforts.

Loss to Houston a bitter memory for Toronto FC
John F. Molinaro
It was one of the most embarrassing efforts and disappointing performances in Toronto FC history.
May 30, 2009, will long live in infamy for Toronto FC. it was on that date the Canadian club suffered a humiliating 3-0 road loss to the Houston Dynamo, a game that was essentially over at halftime.
Almost two months have passed since, but the bitter taste still lingers for Toronto, who will try to avenge that loss when they host the Dynamo Saturday at BMO Field (CBC, CBCSports.ca, 1 p.m. ET).

Short-handed Dynamo face high-scoring Toronto
Associated Press
While their first meeting with Toronto FC was far from suspenseful, the short-handed Houston Dynamo might have a tougher time in the rematch.
The conference leaders face off Saturday in a game between one of the league's highest-scoring offenses and the top defensive unit in MLS.Houston (9-4-4) tops the league with 31 points, six better than Eastern Conference leaders Toronto (7-6-4) and Chicago. The Dynamo, though, are 1-2-1 in their last four games while totaling just three goals, and they are coming off a 2-1 defeat at Seattle last Saturday.

Reds look for fifth win in six games
TFC looks to stay atop East standings
By Mark Polishuk
TORONTO -- When the 2009 MLS schedule was being composed last winter, Toronto FC asked to have their off week in July. The club figured to be missing as many as a half-dozen regulars to international duty at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and thus having some time off during the tournament's opening stages would help TFC avoid at least one match with a depleted roster.

De Rosario irked at passing up all-star nod
TFC facing Dynamo
Eric Koreen
As Dwayne De Rosario explained his decision to forgo the MLS All-Star Game for a CONCACAF Champions League contest, he might as well have been pantomiming a scale with his hands, with all the weight on his right hand.
"Everton," the Toronto FC midfielder said, before skipping a beat. "Puerto Rico. It's not that hard to figure out, you know?

Thanks for the links. The 3-0 loss to Houston wasn't even one of the worst losses in Texas for TFC. They've had much worse humiliations. With all of Houston's injuries and absences, I think this is a great time to be playing them.
