I'm at the game, as per usual...

But I would love to see this one day...
I don't recall ever watching TFC in HD.

I do believe it did happen one time. I always tape the game so I can re-watch it later - especially if we win ;)

This is welcome news. The Footie Fan Poll detracted from the rest of the broadcast imho.

I have heard that Gerry Dobson has purchased the rights to the Fan Footie Poll.

Well done lad. Utterly, monolithically low-brow. I'd much rather have you guys doing some more analysis than that nonsense.

HD! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

Definitely gotta remember to PVR the game now.

Nice call on the footy fan poll. Unecessary and silly, but I can certainly appreciate the effort behind it.

I still haven't gotten my answer. will it be shot in HD??

The game on Saturday was on the HD Channel for sportsnet, but it wasn't shot in the 16:9 format.

So the quality of the video looked great, but there were black bars on the sides.

Thanks for letting us know, John.

With Vancouver coming into the league soon and Montreal being a club of interest, what's the likelihood of CBC expanding it's role in telecasting MLS games? Would rather see CBC up its role in the game rather than get TSN involved.

Darrel Duhtcyzshcnyznyn can't even spell soccer.

CBC's been off and on when broadcasting TFC in HD. Usually it depended on where the cameras were (NHL Playoffs had first priority obviously), but I remember the Canada Day match against Vancouver Whitecaps last season was also 4:3

It's been discussed and looked at. it's two years away so it's hard to predict but it is something we're looking at, as well as other soccer properties.

Was that a unilateral decision or was there a poll?
