When does the transfer window open?

According to this quote from Carver "We keep on working to bring in new players and looking at different options. The window opens pretty soon and hopefully we'll be active in the window."

not sure but i think the euro window is july 15th....would that not hold us from getting someone from europe till JULY 15th?

Is June 15 also the date where salaries are half off? So for instance, a DP counts as $200,000 against the cap?

No, that's for players into Europe. The window applies to the receiving country.

i think there's no rule on this specifically... but I think if you sign a guy midseason you prorate his full salary over the remaining games left, so if there's 15 games left it's half price.
This is what happened with Colin Samuel last year. The salary we saw on the official report from the union was not his full salary but a prorated amount for 17 games since he arrived late. This year we saw the real total amount in the union report.
