Rough start to lengthy road stretch for TFC
SANDY, Utah -- The Major League Soccer schedule certainly does Toronto FC no favors. With their regular season now halfway complete, the Reds sit in the undesirable position of having 10 of their last 15 games on the road. The road is exactly where Toronto is struggling to find results at the moment.
And their road difficulties continued at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, where TFC was dealt a solid 3-0 defeat by Real Salt Lake.

SANDY, Utah – Clint Mathis had a goal and an assist, and Real Salt Lake beat Toronto FC 3-0 last night for its first home victory in more than two months.
Yura Movsisyan and Kyle Beckerman also had goals for Real Salt Lake (5-6-4), which improved to 2-0-2 in June after going 0-4-2 in May.
The victory was Real Salt Lake's first at home since a 6-0 rout of New England on April 25.

The Toronto FC spoiled a chance to sit atop the MLS Eastern Conference standings by dropping a 3-0 decision to Real Salt Lake on Saturday in Utah.
Yura Movsisyan's goal in the 21st minute off a sloppy pass by Toronto's Amado Guevara would be the eventual winner while Kyle Beckerman and Clint Mathis added their own markers to seal it for Real Salt Lake (5-6-4).

Real Salt Lake cruises past Toronto FC 3-0

SANDY, Utah (STATS) -After a surprising run on the road, Real Salt Lake returned to Utah to claim its first home victory in over two months - a 3-0 rout of Toronto FC on Saturday night.
Clint Mathis had a goal and an assist and Yura Movsisyan and Kyle Beckerman also scored for Real Salt Lake (5-6-4), which improved to 2-0-2 in June after going 0-4-2 in May.
Four of those June points came away from home, as RSL returned from a trip that saw them defeat Los Angeles and tie Houston. The team had been 0-4-1 on the road prior to the two-match swing.
