Nice guy, but....

...ranked as the worst player at the Confederations Cup by their technical analysis system...

Good news is he'll be the starting CB for NYRB tomorrow.

He's still one helluva of a nice guy. Bought me and my friends a few rounds of drinks at the Madison a few pub crawls ago.

Always felt he had his moments for TFC. I think we could have done worse than keeping him around.

Andy has always been a class act in my eyes, he has such passion for the game and I will never say a bad thing about him.

I thought he picked up a card in the shitebulls last game and is suspended from tonights match....?

Edit: It's the other ex-tfc player Goldthwaite that's suspended.....

I'm not surprised after his embarrassing mistake against Spain...an attempted kick in his own box resulted in his missing the ball completely and giving it to D. Villa for an easy goal... although I'm sure he's a nice guy, his moving on from us was the best for us..

nice guy but not good enough for MLS. too lumbering, too slow.

btw, the castrol index of the confed cup is pretty interesting. Watch the FAQ video to see how they derive the numbers. seems the baseball-type stats system is moving into soccer.

Villa and Torres top. Talk about a deadly strike team.

Better than Wynne. At least he played.

Wynne got similarily undressed in the first game of the tournament, and hasn't played since.

I always considered him to be pretty decent dealing with balls in the air. He seemed to read them well and cut them out smartly.

I also read that Wynne had a "shocker" against Costa Rica in WCQ. Doesn't sound like he's doing well for the US at the international level. Too bad for Wynne but I'm not surprised that he's been exposed at a higher level. He's fast enough to make up for his mistakes at the MLS level (most of the time) but he can't recover when the play is better. Hopefully he'll use the experience to his advantage and try to work on his positioning.

Wynne hasn't played at all in the tournament

Was that this tournament? I must admit I haven't paid much attention. I know he got a bit embarrassed in a wcq game before this tournament, Did he mess up here as well?

ya the screwup was WCQ... he hasn't played in South Africa.
I don't think he deserved the callup, given his MLS play. But seems like he's been away forever now, and we could use bodies.

he's called up because US really has no one else for right back.

hell, Heyduk is number 1 RB and he's what, 35?

Kassid plays one good game and he's the top keeper in the tournament?

Ya, cause that makes sense.
