Dwayne DeRosario's natural hatrick last night sparked the miracle in Montreal. Since his arrival, he has done nothing but increase the profile of soccer in Toronto and Canada. He has booster our offence, making Toronto a force in the league...and last night he delivered our first piece of silverware.
Now it's our turn to show support for him. DeRo has been very active with the league as the ambassador in the "Spread the Net" charity that obtains mosquito nets for families in countries that have problems with the spread of malaria. In Canada, it's sister program "Nothing but Net" raises funds as well.
DeRo has events on a regular basis in an effort to raise funds. This weekend, his group is holding an event to raise funds for this cause. This event will also showcase his wife Bunmi who stars in the movie SABAR, which was going to be showcased at the Toronto African Film Festival.

This is a great opportunity for us to show our support for DeRo beyond the pitch and autograph seeking. Show up and help support a positive initiative as well as one of our players who has given us such joy with our first Canadian Championship.
