DC United 1 RBNY 0 after 70 minutes.

Emilio was pissed after being subbed off for Moreno and threw water bottles onto the pitch and was sent off. He was given the red card after he was off so DC is not down to 10 men.

Santino Quaranta has the lone goal. If you think our strikers are bad, look at the Shite Bulls.

If DC wins or draws they take 2nd place in the standings. The Shite Bulls are the Shite Bulls so if they cane win that's good for us.

Oh god DCU nearly made it 2-0. Pontius turns and Conway saves it brilliantly.

It's always a pleasure to see the Dead Bulls on the losing end of things.

Angel brought down. Dangerous free kick chance for the Shite Bulls.

Angel shoots and it is just over the bar. Nearly the equalizer.

Shite Bulls haven't scored a road goal this season. They're becoming more dangerous.

Goldthwaite has an open header and misses the goal badly. Yards over the bar.

Jesus great free kick into the box and not one Red Bull could touch it. Shite Bulls indeed. One touch and it's probably a goal.

Fortunately, we have our 'extra' third game against that sad sack.

I wonder if we can now say NY is toast for the playoffs... 8 losses already.. teams can't have many more than 8 losses and still make the playoffs.

FC Dallas and San Jose are getting close to NY's level... so that's 3 teams probably done of 15, leaving 12 fighting for 8 playoff spots. Chivas and Chicago are almost a lock for the playoffs now, so that's 10 fighting for 6 playoff spots.

I'm not sure what to make of Los Angeles' chances... but they are still hanging in there and can't be ruled out. RSL is always dangerous but seems in a funk.
