With the NYRB's game being pushed up, our next 3 games look like this:

June 6 - Galaxy (Home)
June 13 - Red Bulls (Home)
June 24 - Red Bulls (Home)

On paper, these three games should DEFINATELY be 9 point for us. But, at the same time, we seem never to make things easy for ourselves.

Galaxy - June 6th

We will miss Guevara and Wynne, but LA misses Landycakes and Berhalter. This a game we should be able to win, as LA's offence goes through Landon.

Red Bulls - June 13 & 24

Like Toronto, Guevara will be back on 3 days rest afther the WC qualifier, New York will have Rojas and Pacheco in the same situation. For me the 2 games against the Red Bulls will be huge. The Red Bulls are a wounded team, that may have a new coach by both those games. If not, they will still need results.

I still don't trust our form at the moment, I am hoping we play the way we did against New England at home, and these 9 points will go a long way to getting a playoffs spot.

Dead Bulls twice at home within the span of 11 days. That blows my mind. It should also be noted that the Galaxy are currently on a 10-game unbeaten streak.

True - but we could also mention that they have only won 1 of those games...

Their streak doesn't sound nearly as impressive when looked at from that perspective.

i'm curious what the record is for ties in a season.... and whether any team in europe has ever tied 81.8% of its games... lots of games to go, but LA's record looks freaky!

TFC should win those 3 games. Anything less is consider a failure.

ya, and the home games are disappearing fast and we're not even at midseason.
TFC has played the most home games of any team in the league (tied with NY and Chivas). gotta make em count..

It would put a smile on my face if we won 5-0 each of those games.

yeah, I'm with you on that one.

I don't want wins. I want resounding wins.

Nine points isn't just out of the question -- it's so achievable.

LA has been sluggish, but they have some weapons. I would be extremely careful about them even without Landycakes and Berhalter. Remember, we're up against two of our own old hands -- Buddle and Dunivant. Laugh now, but it WAS Buddle who hit the tying goal against KC on Sat.

NY is a whole different issue unto itself. Rojas and Angel for the pair are trouble themselves...
