My dad has put together a very in-depth/comprehensive Toronto FC spreadsheet.

Thanks to Azerban, I have attached a link to it from google docs.

Some examples of what are included are goals scored in comparison to each point of the year for the past 3 years, Nutrilite CC, Game Attendance e.t.c

Marco Velez??

Must be bad! But don't worry it'll only seriously affect your computer once in a while. It's very inconsistant!

I'm surprised we were actually doing better this time last season (by 1 point)..but I suppose it was around this time last season well results started going very badly...

Couple of things to note here:
We are tied with New England but unfortunately, as head-to-head is the 1st tiebreaker (which is so stupid! It should be GD like the rest of the world) we sit in Third spot.
Also, if you look at the Games Tab, our Overall (All competitions) Last 10 is 5-2-3… pretty impressive!
Finally, in the Comparison Tab, our record this year is not quite as good as last season’s but, after the next game, TFC went on a 14 game stretch with only ONE WIN!!!! This is where we will have to improve on last year’s record… the next 15 games.

Not everyone uses GD first (http://www.theoffside.com/world-football/tie-breakers-for-football-teams-level-on-points.html). Serie A and La liga actually have head-to-head considerations before global GD.

Nice spreadsheet.

Why are wins in red and losses in grey? Wins should be GREEN! and losses in RED:(

first 3 in each division make the playoffs

not this year....

The top two teams in each conference qualify and are seeded 1 & 2 in their respective four-team playoff conference brackets.
The four MLS teams with the next most points, regardless of conference, receive "wildcard" berths.

http://web.mlsnet.com/about/league.jsp?section=regulations&content=playoffs

this is why I'm kinda wary when people say they want a western division team to beat one of our east rivals... cuz in the end, many of those west teams will be our rivals for the playoffs, unless we finish top 2 in the east.

gotta adjust for the number of teams and not punish teams in a stronger division.
