I'm familiar with Tromsø, I looked up information on the club when Stamatopoulos was loaned to us on August 3rd 2007. The team has lost once at home in the last 3 years or something because the pitch is frozen half the time. Maybe if TFC' s home record is like theirs, reporters will stop complaining and be satisfied (see today's news thread).

According to wiki, their stadium is 2000 capacity, but the city only has 1500 population. Sounds like Hoffenheim :lol: Though it does say all league games are played in Nuuk (capital).

Actually, the pitch at Alfheim Stadion is field turf, though grass lines were artificially drawn on. Even with the effects of the Gulf Stream moderating the climate in Norway, Tromso is just too far north (69.5 degrees) to support a proper grass pitch.
