Grass won't suddenly get Barrett to play better. The Turf isn't the whole issue today, these guys don't play great in windy wet conditions, Our home games this year have all been Windy and/or Wet and that is the reason for the lower score line.

Turf is blah, but there are more important things to worry about right now, like quality play.
I kinda wish Red Bull Stadium had been built prior to BMO field, it should be the standard for a 20k plus SSS. I think it's design will help keep conditions more normalized. something BMO is lacking

Fieldturf is a big part of the problem. No one can collect the fucking ball, it's bobbling around. It's also unsafe, players trying to save the ball and running into the boards, seems to be happening way too often.

It's not necessarily the rain, but the wetness of that plastic pitch. It makes it extremely difficult to play weighted passes and take good touches on the ball. I think days like today are the biggest difference between a regular pitch and this one.

Anyway first half observations:
- backline = excellent
- Robinson doing a good job winning balls in the mid
- Cronin is out of it
- Vitii and Barrett wasting a lot of chances and missing simple passes in the offensive third.

It was consistant. if the ball didnt hit his arm, it'd have hit his body. his arm wasnt hanging out away. the hand ball didnt impact play at all. thats why it wasn't penalty worthy. we should be more angry that our guys stopped playing at that point and gave up a goal
