They will likely have the most beautiful stadium in the MLS. We, of course, have the worst stadium - and also the cheapest (not counting Kansas who should be getting a new stadium soon as well).

we arguably have the best location of any though

i'd take inner toronto over frisco, harrison, foxborough etc etc etc

Location, yes. But it's a bit of a shame that we have such perfect location and on this superb plot of land we built a shit stadium hardly fit for a high school soccer team in Nevada. Hopefully MLSE will decide some day to build a roof on the stands and put in grass to up the value a bit.

fair enough, but i feel like unless you have prawn seats, you dont really benefit from the added luxeries of these other stadiums

i mean, what do the supporters sections (philly aside) have that we dont which makes their stadium superior to ours?

I just hope Canada bids for a upcomign World Cup sometime soon and we can build an 80,000 seater in Toronto

I think you are wrong here,it's not the worst and definitely not the cheapest.
Cost was $60 I wonder who took $20-25 mil from $60,since there is no way that aluminum box was so expensive.

A park is still a park no matter what it costs or how its built. I'll take bmo and the atmosphere over any new, empty grounds. Its the people sitting in the stands that make it home.

Cant wait to take it over, and the red bulls are still.................

nice stadium, but wouldn't ya rather have BMO than have to play in Giants Stadium for 13 years just to get that new thing?
NYRB/Metrostars fans have had to watch games in a shitbox for years because of money issues.

We got a decent cheap stadium right away, with possibilities for expansion.
I'll take that.
