Carried over from the Songs & Chants section with what happend down at the north end last night (homophobic chants directed at Impact subs). This does seem to be somewhat of an issue, mainly because if it happens in one section, it reflects on TFC fans as a whole. It's understandable that at a match, there weill be colourful language used at times, but what about homophobic chants? Racist chants? Lewd/overly drunken behaviour? People being assholes in general?

How do you deal with stuff like that?
What if it's more then just one person?

Thoughts?

I'm definitely not pleased when I hear something racist or homophobic but I'm not going to start a fight to stop it either.
I just grind my teeth and hope it stops.

chant it in spanish... most players will understand or ask their spanish speaking team mate....plus offensive words in Spanish don't sound so harsh as they do in English

...i'm not justifying this as acceptable behaviour though..just suggesting a nicer way to go about it

Not when you keep harping on it. Any Ideas?

Do we need two threads on the same topic?
