I vote 48273691 times for Pontius.

Seriously though, we have 4-5 players that deserve a spot this year.

I'm personally surprised to see Ibby in there. Or, if you are going to put him in then Velez and Harmse probably deserve to be on the ballot as well. Before you all freek out, I'm going by playing time, not quality ;). I have no idea how the ballot is decided though.

I highly doubt they just take the players with the highest totals as the fan vote, as teams like toronto fc would fill the roster. SO

Some questions:

1) Do you think the part where it asks you to rank your top 2 teams has any effect on your ballots weight?

2) Do you think ballots that have players from only one team or have "unrealistic" selections are lowly weighted or even discarded?

Vote for other eastern teams. Tire their players out. Keep ours fresh and healthy :)

Shouldn't we be voting against our players? There's supposed to be a Champions League game either the same day, or the day before/after ... and is it looks like we've qualified, then why would we want to loose players for some meaningless friendly.

If we don't vote against our own guys, we're silly. It's all well and good when the game was at home and we had nothing else to play for, but it's a whole new ball game now. Fill it with Houston and Red Bulls players, there's a chance we might be drawn against them in the qualifiers of the CCL.

Fill it with Houston and Red Bulls players, there's a chance we might be drawn against them in the qualifiers of the CCL.Houston, New Jersey, and the Canadian team are all in pot A, along with the Mexican teams; so we'd be drawn against a pot B team. Still it doesn't hurt to weaken them! Anyone know when the CCL draw is taking place?
