If you happened to browse through the Banners Section of the forums you would know that we are drafting something BIG for Montreal. Well after some setbacks followed by a near catastrophe on the weekend… we are ready to paint.

This is the moment of Truth… we need people... lots of people to finish this Banner and do our jobs as supporters for this Montreal Derby Match. This is it… The Montreal game! They don’t like us and we don’t like them.

We Need 15-20 People

what's the parking situation like?

I will bring the grey paint for the luchador zombie and any other things we may want to touch up.
After thinking about that tombstone idea FluSH and I discussed last night I think a 'fleur de livre' would be very appropriate!

I think this kind of simple blockbuster would look really good from far away.

^ It would work, but the lines, in the rock have to be thick to ensure they are visible, or they could jsut look like a big grey block letter, and not ROCK.

oh yeah, I'd make sure to scale up all the lines so it's easily recognizable.

Technorgasm
05-12-2009, 01:14 PM
instead of a rock, it would be easier, and I think a bit more effecective if you had the letters with a brick wall pattern.

the coulors would also be red / TFC.

just a suggestion.

Keeper + Brick Wall + FREI - FTW!

Parkdale
05-12-2009, 01:17 PM
the coulors would also be red / TFC.

for the look, it's just way easier to do it in three tones of gray.
the red outline / highlights makes it stand out. Or maybe paint
it on red fabric? That would make the letters pop off
and if it was red, some simple rectangles would make it look like bricks.

trane
05-12-2009, 01:18 PM
^ I like the wall idea as well. Both can be used at some point, one for the Frei on for one or all of the back for, Robbo and Cronin, something like that.

Lest just make sure that whatever is started tonight can be finished, tonight
