Im wondering here, why does BMO say no smoke then semi contradict themselfs , then diss Real Futbol supporters by having fake smoke machines? its probably the most commercialised thing in futbol ive seen to date. its like white parents buying there kid Non-alcoholic beer because they want them to fit in.....:canada:
Honestly Guys, im surprised others have not caught onto it because if i supported another team and saw that, i would have content to rip this club ans its supporters a new a**hole for a year :scarf:

it has to go , or at least look like its comming from the stands , shooting out or up .. like here

kinda in that fashion, ok i know there fans but you get the point..... :flare:

Just have one guy do that in each section in a small burst , red and white alternating smoke.... would look a lot better

do you like it the way it is?

So the only way to make "real smoke" is to have fire.

All smoke bombs and Grenades and what not are simulated smoke, so what are you proposing?

Who cares... You're talking about a smoke machine dude.

ForTheReds.....I'd love to do our own smoke, but its not allowed at the current time, so its not going to happen.

I agree the smoke you see now is terrible, but its not going to change anytime soon.

Not all smoke bombs are made equal. ;)

I was just wondering what exactly happens if someone holds a harmless smoke bomb in the supporters section. What is the FO's official response to that? Automatic ban for game? season?...

I'm having a hard time understanding this thread... Maybe it was the two bottles that we got at the club yesterday... prior to my ass getting kicked out of a sports bar for cheering during the TFC game... or maybe it was my near death experience coming back home...

I don't know what it is... but I'm lost in this thread.

and for the record... I love the pre-game FO smoke... yeah I would prefer if we could do our own... but whoooooo cares the end result is still some kind of smoke.

I think this kind of defines my lack of understanding on the subject. This statement makes no sense to me whatsoever. What is it about smoke that makes supporting football better. Cause that's what I see in that statement...it seems to me to imply that smoke onto itself makes football support better, and I dont understand that. I'm not trying to be aggressive or snooty, i really dont understand.

^^^ when the smoke is unleashed, it is sucked into our lungs and we are given chanting powers that carry us through the match!!!

the smoke is good, but it could be better. Have more smoke machines and use Red and White and Grey smoke, it creates a better display!

We've been over this:

http://www.dawne.ca/sites/lemaitre/index.htm

A special effects tech is just that, they are pros. This company designs stuff for rock bands, shows, hollywood, Disney, cruise ships etc....

You can do anything with smoke, but the wind is a huge problem, and there seems to be a lot of that, both here and at the stadium.

As I don't live close, I just wish we'd get pre and post game stuff, last game they chose to pretend the game was starting in 2 minutes, (it was but they shot the piece in front of an empty stadium during the warm ups), and at the end of the game they say good bye and talk hockey for a 1/2 hour.

Rubbish that.

So your argument is it's too fake and commercialized having it done by the team professionally, so we should at least hide it better and that would make it more authentic?

Do you not see the irony i that?

And for the record, I don't like the smoke but also don't really care about it.

my only issue is that i wish it was red smoke they used in the machine.
