I would love to steal Ethan Gage and Marcus Haber from the Whitecaps. Much better investment than 2 Gambian teens. Make it happen Mo.

At this point, I don't. But I have a feeling that Mo doesn't know who Ethan Gage and Marcus Haber are which is a shame. They are going to be starters for 2011 and we will still be looking for a CB.

Well Gomez is an 18yo who has been called up to train with the Gambian senior national team......in 2 years he could be a starter.

Ah, a feeling, well alright then. Tell me, what does your feeling tell you about the stock market? Any good buys?

I'm just saying I don't think anyone could call where these kids are 2 years from now. Look at Freddy Adu, kid was hailed as the teen golden boy of US soccer and now he's a sub for AS Monaco

I've seen a few 'Caps games this year - Haber looks like he has future potential but I'm not 100% sold on him. Plus he's a Vancouver product, that might make him harder to steal.

Where does Gambian soccer stand with Canada? i believed Gage have already received a call. I am not sure if Haber has or not.

Gambia is ranked 69th in the world right now by FIFA.
Canada is ranked 89th.

But my thing is, regardless of the team you play for, potential as a kid doesn't always translate into success.

Look at Vitti. He is a good player, but at one point was deemed to have more potential then Messi or Augero. Yes the Gambian kids could be flops, but then so can the Canuck kids.

They have a guy for Curzon Ashton!!!!! How can talent like De Guzman and Friend compared to that in all honesty?

And Canada called up a guy who plays for the Charleston Battery and players who sit on benches in Europe.

your point is?

Trust me, Mo knows Marcus Haber at least. He wanted him to join TFC a few years ago as a centre back.
