By my count he needs 17. If he retires this year, he'll likely fall short.

But maybe he's got one more year in him?

Would be nice, but he'd need a couple more years to reach that mark I would think. Especially since if he did stay longer than this year, my guess is it would be with reduced minutes.

Even if he's healthy? If he stays healthy there's no reason he can't carry on as a starter. It's not as if he'd turn shite by a certain date

This is it isn't it?

It's 2009, the science of health and fitness has advanced just as much in the last forty years as have every other aspect of our lives. Players are getting more out of their bodies for longer time periods.

Dichio is a monster right now, there's no reason to think he's going to turn crap overnight.

If he plays a full season healthy he should score 10, if not more. Lets hope, if does that we are in the playoffs.

In his blog post yesterday it didn't sound like he had any plans to go anywhere at the end of this year.

well if he has a good season this year, so far he has, we will see him again next year as a player

Our schedule in may doesn't bode well for his playing time (or anyone elses for that matter). He's going to need a couple of games off during this stretch...

(For clarity I am saying he would likely start more often if we had a better distribution of games)

In beckham's bio, he mentions how he played against Danny in a cup final when they were both 13 and Danny was the same size then as he is now. Danny's team won.

Based on this entirely meaningless aside, and his performance to date, I think Danny will make it to 100 this year; and possibly grow some hair.

I'd be very happy if Danny gets 10 goals this year

if the Man stays healthy, I think he'll be good for 10. esp with steady diet of Guevara freekicks/corners and Serioux throw ins ;)

I know wikipedia isn't always accurate, but they have him at 90 goals (they have him down as 47 appearances for TFC)...of course there is always the possibility I am counting wrong

Whether he scores every game or not, the guy's made a difference on the pitch.

Ya, it does add up to 90 but does non-league Welling United (on loan from QPR) count? He scored six for them.
