Let me know your thoughts....

Especially in a win, I think that Carlsberg should announce the Man of the Match at thr 90th minute. This would give a bit of encouragement to the side, and allow supporters to chant for the Man of the Match through injury time. It would definately help as far as chanting as the south en seems to run out of steam at the end of matches. It's done all over Europe and should be a no-brainer IMO

I say no. It can easily affect how the game finishes. Even if it's not in a big way, I don't want this affecting play.

Given the laughable choices they make, they should scrap it

I mean Barrett last game? For real? He couldn't even sink the offside chances!

Well it looked like at least he knew it - Barrett didn't even touch the trophy and acted kinda like "yeah yeah get me outta here this is embarassing".

I love it when Setanta gives their man of the match at 85 minutes. I was watching United play Wigan or Bolton or someone and they gave the man of the match to a player who ended up watching Vidic head in the winner on 89 minutes. Wait untill the final kick.

Yes, this is how they should do it. As you say, everyone does it in Europe and adds a bit extra to the game.

Why do we even need a man of the match thing? Corporate sponsors? We can determine who we thought was the man of the match ourselves.
