It's looking really bad. :(

Chivas ready to cope with BMO noise (http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20090421&content_id=242529&vkey=news_cdc&fext=.jsp&team=t120)

"Their fans are the epitome of a 12th man," said striker Alecko Eskandarian, who played six games with Toronto in 2007. "Their team feeds off those fans. We're going to have to set the tone and not let their energy bother us."

BMO Field is a notoriously difficult place to play. Toronto has only lost three of its last 18 home games.

We're 5 games into the season....to call Chivas the Top team in the league is like saying we should fire Carver 5 games in. Tonight is a game, a game we could win lose or draw. I'm hoping we win, I'm certain that we can. BMO is a big advantage for us so lets go and be an advantage and see what happens.

You know what? the Houston game in Season 1 was a midweek rainy game. I mean, it was actually pooring that game. There was probably 10,000 people watching the game and it's still memorable to me how good the stadium sounded. We won that game 1-0 against a very good Houston team that included Dero.

We can do it again!

well rain will deflect sound, also when raining wind is often less than it would be without...the rain create almost a "roof" of accoustics, so bring on the rains

Will watch the video after work.

Im feeling a win.

Why?

Because it makes no sense. Our best player is out, were playing the top team in the league on short rest, everything should be stacked against us.

Therefore, it is only logical that we should win.

If I remember correctly, Houston were top of the league when we beat them in the 6th game of the season in 2007.

Kansas were top of the league last year when we played them in the 5th game of the season on April 26th. We won 2-0.

We're due for a win and even if only 10,000 turn up it will be the 10,000 that care. Let the tourists stay home and watch the hockey.

That was a sunny Saturday afternoon :)

AND Jeff Cunningham scored...hahaha. But yes, we've beaten the first place team before, in fact, we seem to make it a habit of doing so, it's time to turn things around today!!

Yeah, but no Welshy!

Seriously though, thanks for instilling a little optimism. Maybe it won't be such a long ride to BMO today.

Houston game, last years LA game had an amazing atmosphere with the rain, plus we ended off with a 1-0 win.
