View Full Version : The Next TFC Coach

Hey everyone,

I think it's inevitable Carver is going to be fired - and in my opinion it should happen sooner rather than later. This thread isn't to debate whether or not he should be, but merely for fantasizing who could replace him:

A few currently unemployed coaches come to mind:

Sven Goran-Eriksson
Roy Keane

Source: IGLbget9Riw:)

If you can think of any other unemployed coaches, post them here.

Guys, Carver is not going to be coach for life. That's fact.

So that's why Xenon Blurkoid 955 will be our next head coach. :D

Talk about deliberately provocative; "it's not to debate whether it'll happen" because you think it's inevitable.

How about the answer to the question is "no one you could name here, because if they're available right now, we still have a coach and no job to fill?"

That would at least be accurate.

Sven lol. I want Mancini! haha. Lets not throw crazy names around. I bet I've never heard the name of the dude that will eventually replace Carver. If things don't improve (because Carver is finally going to figure out how these tactics things go...) then I hope I hear the name soon though.

Danny Dichio

That'd be my guess.
If they were looking for a new coach that'd mean we'd failed ...and Dichio would be PR magic for the masses

We suck...but it's okay....we have the legend as coach now.

Oh and PS...tin foil hat time....that's why Carver refuses to play Danny. Except for the awesome tactically geneus 90 minute subs

Roy Keane

No way to Keane anyway..he's already said he thinks MLS is a joke or something to that effect...and Sven would be way too pricey..

I can see MLSE hiring someone Canadian so they can pay relatively low wages and sell the sentimentality of it instead...Mitchell anyone?:o

it's ok, not everyone knows the effort i put into every single grade-A Azerban-approved post; for example, that last one there, i needed to find precisely the right image to fit this thread

obviously, anything with a watermark is out. but i'm still left with decisions of colour, lighting, texture, consistency, etc. i sat there for what felt like seconds, poring over the vast array of clip art dog shits i had before me. then suddenly; inspiration struck. i reached deep into my archives, and pulled out that little piece there. clip art dogshit connoisseurs will recognize this to be of the 1994 T/Maker vintage; i believe the strong lines and black and white colour scheme to give this thread a little je ne sais quoi

haha...I love this place! What is the problem with you guys?

We would get absolutley noone of any consequence to come here if we mishandle any 'termination' of Mr. Carver - what a joke to even entertain the idea!

that said, Frank Yallop, would be an excellent choice if the worst ever came down.

Give Carver the season at least! We just kicked off! The team is showing improvement!

I shake my head...

Oh, pu-leeze: that's clearly from the minimalist shit period, when you could colour with something as bland as a maize filter and still get attention.

If you were willing to be daring and go with a cubist expression of shit, I would be more impressed by the thinking here. Cubist or...maybe, just maybe....primitive, like the zagnut bar on the sidewalk at the end of Chappelle Show.

Agreed.

Frank Yallop should be coaching TFC. He got MLS experience (won couple of MLS Cups) and has history with some of our current players (like DeRo).

Plus he is a Canadian. :canada:
