There's not much info regarding his condition after sunday's game. Is there a possibility he could be out for a long time? Anyone have any solid updates other than "Questionable - Hamstring" on the match info with Chivas. Sorry to go off track, but Jose Calderone (Raptors PG) had a hamstring injury this year and he never fully recovered for the last half of the season.

Yes. At least until we get grass.

Yes, hamstring injuries are a bitch. We should definately be concerned. We are more then likely going to lose him in the Gold Cup to Canada if he's healthy. So he may be overworked and that may mean he can't fully recover from his hamstring.

Yes we should be concerned.
The DD's response to the second tweak was very significant when compared to the response to the first tweak. Two tweaks in less than two weeks so to speak...please dont freak.

The fieldturf in it's current state should be declared hazardous and unfit for use, whether it's responsible for DeRo's condition or not. I'll guarantee most sports surgeons would tell him to keep off the shit until he's fully recovered, and not to train on it.

Football players are workers, just like anyone else, why should they be subjected to hazardous working conditions anyway?

TFC FORZA RPB!

No I cant feel DeRo's pain but I feel comfortable sharing my personal observation as I've pulled my hamstrings (and experienced others pulling their own) playing football a few times....please dont freak...

lol understandable and no i wont freak, i was just trying to comment on the thread name, "should we be concerned about DeRo's hamstring?"

it just sounds like something tv mom's and dad's would say.

He will be fine even if he takes some time off i think he will come back in full force

He's missing two games, even with the best scenario, we're fucked. The silver lining might be less confusion in the midfield, clearly defined roles.

I'd shut him down for more than two games, if I ran the zoo.

I'm not a doctor, but it wouldn't surprise me if he needs weeks away from the pitch. The player always says he feels good to go, but hamstrings are bad.

He took a bad knock on the thigh early in the KC game, he hasn't been right since.

To the question of safe rehab, where is OBW doing his running? Not on the plastic at BMO, I hope to god....

680 news had a report that he's out for sure for the next two games and is having an MRI today, and the probability is he's out for 2-4 weeks.

Yes – because all things TFC related point directly to the panic button these days, so yes, absolutely we should be afraid that his hamstring isn't nearing a debilitating state.
