Dynamo sign defender Hainault
Paperwork completed for 22-year-old Canadian international
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Dynamo have finalized the signing of Canadian defender Andrew Hainault from Czech Republic side FK SIAD Most, the team announced Tuesday.
Hainault, 22, has been training with the Dynamo since the start of pre-season camp in February. He came to the Dynamo after four years playing in Europe, including a loan stint with Czech power Sparta Prague. Although the Dynamo and Hainault agreed to terms in early March, the contract could not be finalized without Hainault's international transfer certificate (ITC), which was held up by a contractual dispute between Hainault and his former club. All parties reached a suitable agreement on the matter earlier this week, and the ITC was issued today.Read the rest here (http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20090414&content_id=239566&vkey=news_hou&fext=.jsp&team=t200).
