The Fan had a good broadcast today, but for the love of god, they need to not call TFC, FC, especially against Dallas, I didn't know who they were referring to. Any other team against it would be more acceptable, but today it was just confusing.

Other than that another good broadcast

LOL! I had to purchase the MLS Direct Kick package on Directv. All of the TFC games are listed as "FC vs. ???". WTF?

I post about it here, because I know that there are MLSE and media people who read these boards, and might have the capability to figure out they made a mistake when they refer to both teams as FC...

For clarity sake, would have been better had they simply used Toronto or Dallas...

Just refer to our soccer team the same way - to name but a few - Barcelona, Malaga, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Malmo, Liverpool, Newcastle, Palermo, Roma, Marseille and St. Etienne are referred to - by their city names. That's all we need to hear, that's all that need be said or written.

Ed's got a point though... if two teams are named the same thing, use their city name.

I certainly appreciate that the fan is finally covering TFC. I'm looking forward to when they don't have to break away to cover the Marlies after a 10 minute post game show.

Also whoever the announcer was (Dunleavy maybe) who kept saying TFC shouldn't go out and pick up a DP....should be shot!
