I posted this on the NEE forums, and one of the members suggest I post it here too....please review and comment as your feedback would be appreciated.

A buddy of mine has been talking to the Management at this pub in Mississauga called "Abbey Road Pub and Patio" on Erin Mills between Dundas and Burnhamthorpe.

He approached them to look into possibly becoming a TFC themed pub that can show home and away games, have special game night offers and themes, and also for other football matches....he asked me to pass the word around to gauge interest in this type of place so he can give feedback to the Management and see if it would work out.

Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated....i will post updates here once I get feedback to them.....Thanks.

I'd like a spot in Mississauga for Away game viewings. However, I thought that the Mad Hatter was the spot in Mississauga? I'm not opposed to Abbey Road, it's dirt close to my house but it'd be nice to have a decisive place. I think I'll go to Mad Hatter on the next away game, unless something more concrete comes of this new idea. Cheers!

Hmm...this place is right around the corner from me.

I could perhaps be persuaded to leave my house for an away game.

This would be a sweet place to have a TFC pub. The more support the better!

Just around the corner, pass it everyday, if it gets setup I wouldn't mind catching a match there with my fellow supporters.

Thanks for posting this dodarotfc.

Pretty damn close to my place, I'm in The Credit Woodlands. May give it a shot. Three pubs all showing TFC games in Mississauga, is that spreading the love too thin? How many guys show up to watch TFC games at these places?

Hey...Just wanted to let everyone know I did chat with the manager at the pub and we're good to go...I hope to see as many people out as possible so we can push this to an "official" TFC pub...Thanks for the comments and thanks dodarotfc for putting the post up.

that place is a real pub.

shoeless is not a pub, its a crappy bar that wasnt a place any footy fan would go to if it werent for its proximity to the stadium

To get a bit more atmosphere, it might be an idea to try and all agree on 1 particular location for each match.

I would be willing to try "Abbey Road: for the next match. My nephew and girlfriend are visiting from England, so with my wife and myself, that would be 4 that would turn up this weekend.

BritSOL...Glad to hear it...I am all about a single location for Mississauga...I did look to see if there was an RPB Pub locally and couldn't find one, They will also have EPL or significant matches earlier in the day. I hope all goes well and We can make something official prior to the next away game May 9th

Soulless and characterless. It sponsored a footy team I play on for a year. Crap.
