So - Get to Toronto to show your support for the Crew. Last year we had 100+ Crew fans in the stands, in the rain, and according to TFC FO and TFC supporters, that was the most "away fans/supporters" ever in BMO Field. And, I can tell you that we 100 Crew fans were louder than the entire TFC supporters group.

They really are a delusional bunch.

100 fans...so all of them?
whats the plan this year, make it 200 by bringing their baby's mama's?

I still have about 50 of those calander/schedule magnets they handed out a couple of years ago - someone car will get decorated! I figure it is harmless enough as they won't damage a car.

I was at the game they are talking about, and they were reasonably loud, considering what a small group they were.

The Columbus guys who organize the trips are usually quite friendly - I talked to a few of them prior to the match.

Try not to paint them all with the same broad brush. that many of them are trying to paint TFC supporters with, based on a few drunken yahoos.

I remember the last time they were here and milling about the tailgate. They seemed like a pretty easy going group and it was fun with some chanting back and forth without anything getting out of hand. Those guys are welcome anytime.

There were more than 100 Fire fans for their game here in 2007.

Didn't the fire fans whine and complain they couldn't get enough tickets to the season finale last year? I'm sure that total was over 250 when all was said and done.

They really are a delusional bunch.

For sure, I don't know a set of supporters who are more out of touch with reality. 100 outsigning 20400? I don't think so, all we have to do is cough a little bit, and we'd bury them with sound. :D

so 100 of them drive up...and sit up at the top of 104...wow....
there will be 20,080 of us...and 100 of them.

hope they are going to be patted down on entry and have flag poles removed from them, and all banners inspected for vulgarity.......and spelling / punctuation too.

The Columbus Crew team and their two buses of fans will be staying at the Renaissance on Front Street, just west of Union Station for their visit to Toronto on May 2nd.

Just thought in the spirit of giving that I would put this out there early enough for us to do something about it.

Let them come...hopefully they bring more people... Atleast we know it won't get out of hand because our police know what they are doing

Guys, piece of advice.

FORGET ABOUT THE CREW and everything that is associated. They are not worth your time, honestly.

Why would you post that? Why would you suggest that? Best case scenario, crew fans read that and get the impression you're going to do something incredibly stupid (which brings the whole ridiculous mess back up). Worst case scenario, you actually are planning on doing something stupid. Either way, keep the rivalry in the stands, for the game. After the game/before the game if you don't want to treat them as human beings just ignore them.

you know what.....

I LIKE having visiting supporters in our stands (team doesn't matter).
It's easy to chant and show our support when we're alone in the stands,
but having another group in BMO forces us to up our game.
If we get quiet for a bit, they will take advantage of it.
Having other supporters makes us raise the bar.

and West Ham had more people than the Crew.

To follow up... Can we start a petition to have all posts pertaining to Columbus removed? :D I'm sick of looking at anything that starts with CRE COL KKK.... they're more worthless then the fresh steamy coil I just left in the bathroom.

Hazaa! That's exactly why I didn't post something else embarassing I found out about them; because everyone is sick of hearing it. Not sure if it's even true anyway.

I look forward to the Seattle game!
