Truth be told, I'm a little shocked by the sheer number of New Zealand Internationals in MLS.

I'm personally amazed that so few internationals are missing this weekend.

And that David Beckham is still considered a LAG! :D

I agree. I would figure they would be playing in the a league unless they were developed in NCAA

There's a lot of quality players missing...imagine if you could only afford to go to 1 or 2 games a year and you ended up to tickets this weekend. The league really has to get its shit together. At the very least, if they're going to charge "Premium" prices to certain games, they should offer "bargain" prices for games held on FIFA days.

New Zealand is really close to a potential world cup berth, if you can believe it.
they have a two legged series in November with the 5th place asian team. Winner goes to South Africa.

I remember posting that MLS should consider breaking its schedule in 2010 so that they stop play during the WC. But seeing that list, I'd still like to see it, but it's not a must.

There will be far less players missing during the World Cup than during last years qualifiers.

knowing MLS, they'll probably schedule a TFC game during the WC Final
