Well I've PM'd the right people, and fingers crossed I'll be lucky enough to get hold of a ticket for the Seattle Sounders FC game on the 4th April. If all goes according to plan then my day is going to look something like this:

1. 5.00am (Toronto time) leave Heathrow - land at Pearsons 11.30am (lToronto time)
2. Leave luggage with girlfriend, catch a bus/train/rent a bike or get a lift from RPB - 'AC Sertl' downtown.
3. Have a few drinks and catch up with the RPB's from last year.
4. Watch the game (Fingers crossed)
5. Head back to the bar and have a few more drinks
6. Power nap against bar (2min MAX) and then head to Union station
7. Catch the 22.10 Go Transit from Union to Newmarket.
8. Get on the 23.15 from Newmarket - Barrie and get off at Bradford Go Station.
9. Ring my girlfriend to pick me up.
10. Sleep (for 3 days).

April 4 is the home opener vs Seattle... Dallas is April 11. Do you have the team wrong or the date

Edit: I guess I'm slow... ;)

well even if your entire plan comes together, u still won't get to see TFC play FCD, sorry not happening....but Seattle maybe could be plan B??

That's looking like a very long, very draining, but quite doable day.
You're girlfriend should be forwarned that the chance of you being at all frisky isn't likely to happen until later the next day.

I won't be able to make the first game but I promised my friend a ticket. But you can have it for $200. Mostly because if you can afford to come to T.O. for a footy trip you can afford $200 Canadian.

So if all goes well.. you land at 11:30, clear customs in an hour and get to the bar of choice by 1:00. Gives you a couple of hours to spare. Looks good, hope your flight lands on time.

I got my fingers crossed for that one too. Generally though, Pearsons has been a good airport for me.

Awesome.

We've got a guy on GoTFC who's doing something similar, though he's only coming from Halifax and if I recall, he's flying back that same day.

Love the dedication.

Go with 1-5, and have the gf come down to get you. Can't risk falling asleep and ending up in Barrie at 2AM.

There are quite a few of us that live in the Bradford area. Don't brutalize yourself with the bus ride north. I'll give you a ride from Joe's to the Bradford GO Station if you want.

Definately, I'm staying in Gilford, but my girlfriends mates are all in Bradford. I'm over for the two weeks so would love to meet up and have a beer. Even if it's down at BMO
