Pretty much what happens when a game is a place to let the kids run around for two hours instead of a legitimate sporting event.

The Crew are among several MLS teams (hello, New England) who report all tickets distributed as their attendance. They were busted last year by the Columbus Dispatch (you can probably still find the story on Google) for giving away nearly half of their tickets for every game. The actual paid attendance averaged under 10,000.
