it was good meeting most of you. more people seemed to know me for some reason. I had about 10 RPB's come up to me and say "are you red wookie?" then had me do my wookie impression. all in all, good times and I am clad TFC scored the first goal.

also, thank you to the italian guys girlfriend who let me finish their pitcher. I will pay you back next time.

I can't believe Parkdale is promoting Shoeless Joe's as the place to be to see TFC...

I know. It's so out-of-character.

Well I just want to thank everyone who came out.
Especially Marcel who built a drum out of an old bucket!
We chanted really loud, consumed kegs of beer AND
picked up 3 points on the road.

A lot of new faces came into the place early on,
but by the time they blew the whistle, it was like
a big mob of old friends. I think the place yesterday
was BETTER than I've ever seen it before, game days included.

also, it might have been too packed to notice that the door
to the patio is in the process of being cut. Once that's done,
we'll have a quick route out to the patio, WITH your beer.
Maybe even put a TV or two out there, and watch summer
away matches from the patio. How gnarly would that be?

I had a friend come meet me to watch the game, it was the second soccer game she's ever watched (the first being a home game in season 1). She said that she was overwhelmed with the amount of people and the atmosphere at Joe's and she's definitely coming back to watch some other games.

I am still not getting over how great the night was....
