BTW, when is TFC going to trade one of their goalkeepers? Having 3 goalkeepers on 20 senior roster is too much IMO. When is Velez going to be traded or released?

Actually, he never did trial with us (or trail for the rest of you)...his suspension was lifted and he was allowed to play for Alianza...but that wiki hasn't been updated...

He's a headcase from way back. Moved to parma when he was 15 (I'm going by memory on this) and was HUGELY touted in Serie A, with every top team after him. Too much glory and attention too young and he never developed into the player he was expected to be. He's been doing the Denilson-like paycheque-to-paycheque tour for about a decade now.

The reference in wiki article to the Soccer by Ives blog entry is over a year old - seems no one’s edited his wiki in a while. I don’t think he’s currently on TFC’s radar.
