just got an email to say presale for individual games are on Sale this Friday for Gold Listers. There are only 1,000 tickets available.


I will definetly be looking for more tickets. I am happy I was able to score tickets to a few extra games beyond my partial pack a few weeks ago thanks to my company. Long Live TFC

Our perk is that we, as STH, get first crack at the single tickets.

Unfortunately the odds of getting very much is low given the small # of tickets available and the demand but c'est la vie!

We go through this every year, at the beginning of the saeson there is this mad scramble to get tix, a couple of matches in and the ticket trader/ebay/craigslist is full of inexpensive tix. I know this cause i dont have seasons and still manage about 8 matches a year

Good point. The last two seasons I only had partial packs and was able to attend every TFC home game I wanted to via this board, friends, Ticket Trader etc. There are always tickets floating around after the first few games

Being a season ticket holder, you do deserve some perks. Unless your friends are also season ticket holders, they do not.

Of course, I wilfully chose to remain on the Gold list rather than ponying up about 3x the money required to buy dark grey seasons. My perk involved me saving about $1,200 from the five games that aren't in my package, while getting to watch the rest of TFC's games from section 111. I am quite satisfied with what I've got, and I don't intend on buying any extra TFC tickets at this juncture.

The 1000 tickets on Friday would be expected to sell out within a few minutes. These are different than what is available on Monday.

But with 1000 tickets for 17 games, that's less than 60 tickets per game. And I'd expect many will be for the DC United game, as none were sold in the partial packs.

There were 16,000 season tickets, but also there were the partial packs. I can't remember how many more seats that comes to though.

Ah,found the old info. There were 600 regular partial packs (so that's 200 seats), and 1,200 all-season packs (so that's 400 seats).

So 16,600 of the seats are already spoken for. (but only 16,000 for the DC game, as for some reason it wasn't in any of the Partial packs). So if the 1000 tickets are distributed evenly among the games, that's still only about 16,660 sold.

Bigger question is how many get released on Monday, and how many have gone in other ways (group sales, give-aways).
