3rd Jersey/Alternate Jersey

So i went into the Adidas store on Yonge and Dundas yesterday to purchase an official Home Jersey...

It wasn't busy at all on the 2nd level where the TFC/Soccer gear is, so i started chatting with the guy working there who also happened to be the Assistant Store Manager, really nice guy.

After talking for a while, he could tell that i was a huge TFC fan, because i was already wearing my TFC Golf shirt, Hoodie and Hat into the store! LOL. He said i can let you know something that i just found out and saw this week....I said "please do", He was like i shouldn't really tell anyone yet but oh well, it'll be out soon enough anyways...

He told me that the 3rd jersey is already being prepared to be shipped to stores and they are getting ready to launch it in Canada...He didn't have an exact timeline for me...

He said the 3rd Jersey is PINK!! with white and grey trim...

Thats right take it for what its worth, the 3rd Jersey will be PINK!!!

I'm not to happy..

Right- not a true 3rd Jersey that the team would wear but a novelty item/ breast cancer awareness item. They had this last year, and are probably just adapting it to the 2009 style.

yaa this will definatly not be a third jersey, a third jersey would be something TFC wears lets say for the canadian championship, (WHICH they should definatly make.. im feeling a nice black and red jersey). This jersey will probably not be worn at all.

If they do, they will wear it on the game of the October 10th at home to the Earthquakes. It is the first game after the CIBC Run for the Cure, October 4th, and during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I hope you don't mean that a Canadian Championship jersey should be made more Canadian by adding black. I abhor this country's apparent movement to add black to the national flag. If the TFC third jersey is black and red, I'm all for it; just don't call it a "Canadian" jersey.

Actually, If TFC do a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, I will get one for my Wife and Daughters. Infact I use the Hope Golf Balls, I am quite comfartable with my sexuality,lol
