Toronto Fc New Website?

OKAY now that ive got your attention, i know this can seem like a nitpick, or it can even seem like one of those pointless threads like "Which Striker has the most shots on target". But i am really tired of going on www.torontofc.ca (http://www.torontofc.ca) and looking at the standard mls garbage. I've been on seattles and was wowed.
Since TFC is a high class team, why cant we just get presented as one by our website.

WE DESERVE BETTER ......lol (never again)

....but anyone else feel this way?

I like the Seattle and Colorado website.

Both also have pictures of their players in game action under roster. Not like the MLS standard, where you gotta click on the player's name to see their pictures.

Hey, finally an issue we can affect change in .... that doesn't have any visible barriers or ready-made excuses (i.e. grass at BMO, roof, scalpers, player signings, jersey design)

Let's get a new damn website already. Our's is pathetic. Just get Dichio's Blog webmasters to do it for a cut rate, 2 for 1 price.

For the purported most sophisticated team in the league, with the most loyal and passionate fan base, ... not to have a top class website in the technological era is farcical.

It's the info I'm after.
TFC is pretty good about communicating with fans.

The content on the site is pretty good though, TFC TV is well done and news articles are updated daily, if only it wasn't a lame cookie cutter site.

most MLS teams have the same website as TFC.. even the MIGHTY LA BECKHAMS and the CHAMPIONSHIP MLS CUP KKKREW! ;)

it's a template created by Major League Baseball, whose web division owns the contract to MLS's web services. Some teams have come up with their own tho, like NE.

But TFC TV seems to me like a pretty good attempt to do their own internet visual content site. It just needs to be intregrated into a general site.

TFC is one of the few teams in MLS to have its own reporter (Luke Wileman). I think FC Dallas and Seattle have their own dedicated reporter.

Agreed...I am more interested in content than appearances.

But if MLSE really wants to do a bangup job...they will makeover the website at some point.

But for me...it's not really a big issue.

also... I notice that the Seattle site does not have the links at the top of the page for other teams.

Whats wrong with the website. I rarely go there anyway :P. If anything is important, someone will usually post it here. I would rather them invest their time and money elsewhere. As long as its functional and easy enough to navigate I could care less what it looks like.

The one semi interesting nugget is that there is a 30 minute pre-game show on Goltv.

I wonder who they'll hire. Will they be like the raptors and have basically the same production shown on different channels? Which would mean Limpact Lover Devos and Nigel Reed doing all the games (except sportsnet with debbie downer dobson and I played at West Ham Forrest).

It's probably tape delayed because CBC hold's the rights to that game.

LeafsTV works the same way I believe. (I don't think LeafsTV shows games live that are happening live on TSN, Sportsnet or CBC)

Someone who has LeafsTV or RaptorsTV please clarify.

I wouldn't be too worried about it now. Let's see the other stations TFC schedule. I think we should trust the FO on this one, they got us live feed from the CCC. They will definately try to get that game live.

Did notice one interesting thing on the new site, on the part about watching TFC on the MLSLive.tv (or MLS Match Centre as it looks like it will be called) it mentions it will now be streaming at 800k instead of the 350k last year. So better picture quality for this season.
