Does anyone know if guevara will play for the Honduran team in the olympics?
from what i understand 3 senior players can be named.

I would think he'll play in the World Cup Qualifiers instead. Because if he plays in both we won't see Guevara until next year :(

It's unusual (to say the least) to put established players in the olympics. It's not FIFA sactioned so release is not required.

The Olympic Tournament is actually the FIFA U-23 tournament. so it's impossible for Guevara to play considering he's like 31.

If he wants to go though, it might not be wise to stop him, give his reported mental issues.

if he goes he'll miss a World Cup Qualifying game (if his team gets past this first round coming up in June). I don't see him going for that reason.

They are allowed 3 overage players per squad.
