Suddenly, I'm not feeling so confident about our upcoming games - home unbeaten streak or not.

price to be paid for having such an international team I guess. Too bad we hadn't picked up a few more points before all this.

You're welcome.

Are you looking forward to seeing Nana Attakora-Gyan (http://toronto.fc.mlsnet.com/players/bio.jsp?team=t280&player=attakora-gyan_n&playerId=att045826&statType=current) in central defense on June 14, just out of curiosity?

Wynne, Tebily and Dunivant will start that day with.....somebody new, that's for sure.....

What about Tebily and the Ivory Coast?

Mo specifically said when Tebily signed that he was brought in partly because he wouldn't be called up.

For sure. Duni on the left, Marvell on the right, Tebily and Gyan in the middle.

I hate to even put this in writing (knocking on wood as I write this)....pray Marvell doesn't get hurt these next few games!!!

IMO, Jarrod Smith. He's a striker/winger so it makes natural sense. Plus I've liked what I've seen of Joey Melo. He's not afraid to shoot from distance and is fairly tough on the ball. Plus, :canada:

Has Robert ever played in the middle?

He did when we lost to DCU.

What about Rosenlund or is he typically a winger?

wow, at least in the LA game Becks and landycakes are missing but the Colorado game looks bad.

This is what it probably will be for that game (although it's 50/50 that Carver would play Harmse in Central Defense rather than risk Gyan there....)

Wynne-Gyan-Tebily-Dunivant

-----Dichio-Cunningham--------

It shows how important Cunningham remains to things around here....

youre forgetting about Phelan, id put money on phelan playing over Gyan.
Im kinda excited because we are really going to see what Carver has got for tactics etc as everything up until now has been sorta obvious..

Maybe we should just call a 4-2-3-1 formation "The Amado".

OMY, you meaan the 1st loss to DCU? I coulda swore he was still left mid then too, though I could be wrong.

-----Dichio-Guevara/Rosenlund/Smith--------

I think this is what we will see, depending on whos around
Obviously with Rosenlund/Guevara playing Guevaras role but Smith playing as an all out striker.
Maybe i should even trade Cunny for Smith as i see Cunny starting over Smith even tho Smith has more heart and Cunny will be traded or whathave you soon enough. Also i think we will need Smith as a sub for the wing.

Can anyone confirm officialy what position Rosenlund plays

Interesting, i guess thats where they played him against DCU too.
I just remember reading somewhere that he was a playmaker (not sure how true that was), as well as how when he was overseas they wanted him playing back as opposed to going up (which is sorta ambiguous).

They've had six friendlies already this year and haven't called him up. I know he was hurt and all but they played in January and Febuary and didn't call him up. Why would they now?

I just wanna see the kid play in a red shirt, darn it.

Does Smith have an call-ups for New Zealand on the horizon?

Ossington Mental Youth
05-26-2008, 05:32 PM
I've no idea what Assadpour's position is, if he's like Tyler Rosenlund and is a creative midfielder he may find it difficult - Rosenlund's claim was that he was totally useless on the pitch in Sweden because they kept by-passing the midfield with their long balls out of the back for the strikers to run on to.

Quote from Voyageurs board on Rosenlunds playing style...

I have faith in Carver as well as our substitutes. The quality of TFC's bench is among the best in the league and most of the clubs we'll be facing during the upcoming fixtures will be shorthanded as well...

Alot is being made of the starters TFC will be without for the upcoming games. However, in order to determine the impact you also have to look at who they are playing and what starters their opponents will be missing.

For example LA game who will they missing (Beckham, Donaovan???)

Would you be able to show the players missing from the opposing teams?

It's time though, it's time for the likes of Jarrod Smith and Joey Melo to show us what they can offer. I'm very nervous but at the same time excited.
